Wondered how fast Usain Bolt could have run the 100m sprint if he didn’t prance around at the finish line?  Some astrophysicists think about 9.55 seconds!! 

The only other thing worth posting today is this amazing discussion from edge.  I haven’t finished reading it yet.  What makes people vote republican? – From the psychologist Jon Haidt, and with comments from Sam Harris, Scott Atran, Michael Shermer etc.  I might post again with my thoughts when I get to the end.
